Derrick Adams is the lead curator and artistic director for Inviting Light. He approached 5 artist teams to materialize a new way of approaching light as a public art initiative for the area. The 5 installations will be activated by event programming curated by José Ruiz throughout 2025 in Station North. With the support of the Bloomberg Philanthropies’ Public Art Challenge and our partners, the project presents a unique opportunity to engage an area so pivotal to Baltimore by way of its location and cultural offerings.
